Cessna Landing is a waterfront park in HogTown Bayou, off Highway 393. The park was one of the first settled areas in the community, known as Old Town Santa Rosa when lumber and turpentine were the primary industries shipping products on the bayou. Point Washington State Forest spans over 15,000 acres in Walton County, purchased in 1992 with the Florida Conservation and Recreation Lands program. The state forest consists of 10 habits, including basin swamps, wet flatwoods, cypress swamps, and more.
